Crete day 3.. The long walk...

We had breakfast on the balcony before going to Chania

damm I miss those ice coffee's

in Chania we met these at a pet shop, wanted to save them all.

and back at the hotel after lunch I took a nap

the main event of this day was a 10km walk along the beach

 with a lot of beer and the goal to find dinner

I think this is beer number one...

a dog that got really mad every time we walked by

we made a beer stop at a small place with a lot of cats

sleepy cat and very pretty red cat that would not sit still for two seconds

more view as the sun was setting

as we started to get more drunk things started to get more funny,

like the worlds smallest mini golf

and a restaurant that showed this by the street so we could really feel how nice it was

I found the "shuffling" guy on the super market sign so funny that my boy had to take the picture.

and later my boy played some games and used all of his money 

then we had drunk cravings and ate giant ribs mmmm it was so good, but hard to do anything after that

but on the way home we stopped for drinks and football 

Day 2 of Crete, a photo post...

After our walk on the first day we felt we had to take the same walk the next day just to all the pics we didn't get the day before.

Later that day we took the bus to Chania to have lunch.

we had fries and an amazing avocado salad

this is where we ate, all alone in the middle of the city, amazing

after lunch we met a lot of cats, pretty and sleepy cats

before we went home for dinner we made a stop in a park

and we had ice cream 

at dinner we had seven different things, all Greek, and it was soooo good.. also I enjoy trying new kinds of food whenever I can

this is where we had dinner, and a mini banana chocolate ice cream for dessert

before bed we had beer on the balcony along with some Bob

Tales from Crete..

With no summer in Copenhagen and a long winter ahead of us we decided to take a sunny vacation... so we went to Crete to get some sun...

When we got there it was late and very dark, so we got a taxi to our hotel and found something to eat before going to bed.

the next day we went for a walk to see where we lived
